Work Experience:
August 2006- Cleveland Medical Center-Intern Present Performed managerial roles throughout various departments within the Medical Center. Completed a Business Plan for the opening of a new outpatient clinic that was approved by the Ohio Board of Regents. Developed websites for several departments within the hospital.
August 2004- Baylor University Hospital-Clinical Dietitian Present Provide medical nutritional therapy and complete nutritional assessments for long- term acute-care patients. Educate patients, family and hospital staff on therapeutic diets. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Maintain accurate records to comply with JCAHO regulations. Manage activities related to safe and efficient operation of the dietary department and the delivery of quality patient care.
April 2003- Central Ohio Hospital Health Systems Dec. 2003 Clinical Dietitian/Clinical Nutrition Manager Assisted with the development and procurement of the Aramark system within a new hospital account. Completed clinical assessments for acute-care, skilled nursing and long-term care patients. Supervised Licensed Dietitian Eligible and approximately 20 employees. Successfully managed the Clinical Nutrition Department’s operations resulting in passing of the Ohio State Inspection Annual Survey. Effectively implemented a smooth transition plan regarding the close of the hospital.
